| Background | Cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans are composed of a membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variable number of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-related integral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a core protein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage. (A) DMC101004 does not bind to Jurkat cells that do not express GPC1.
(B) A clear peak shift of DMC101004 was seen compared to the control when incubated with GPC1-expressing 8226 cells, indicating strong binding of DMC101004 to GPC1. Antibodies were incubated at 10 μg/mL.
